Organizational structure
The decision making bodies of the Wisconsin Green Party are the General Membership and the State Coordinating Council (CC). The general membership meet at gatherings scheduled in the spring, summer, and fall. The State CC is charged with the decision making duties when the general membership is not assembled. The CC consists of 26 members and is elected by the general membership at the Fall Gathering Convention. The two Co-Chairs are empowered to represent the State Party, are elected at-large and serve staggered, two year terms. A treasurer, campaign treasurer, recording secretary and correspondence secretary are elected at-large and serve two year terms. Each of the State's eight congressional districts are represented by two CC members who serve staggered two year terms. The remaining seats are represented by the Diversity, Women’s, Lesbian-Gay-Bisexual-and-Transgender (LGBT), and Youth caucuses. To the greatest extent possible, decision making is reached by the consensus process.
